BioJacob Black lives in La Push, Washington with his father, Billy. He is a member of an ancient Native American tribe called the Quilete, who hold a dangerous secret. The youth turn into werewolves in order to protect the surrounding areas from "The Cold Ones" aka Vampires. Jacob underwent his first transformation at age 16, and is currently second in command in the pack.
Jacob's best friend is Bella Swan, who happens to be dating a vampire. He is afraid for her safety, and wishes she would choose to be with him instead. He is fiercely loyal to her, and is not unwilling to play dirty to steal her from her blood-sucking boyfriend.

theatrical_muse journal for the character Jacob Black from the Twilight book series by Stephenie Meyer. I am not, nor do I have any affiliation with, Stephenie Meyer or Steven Strait, the actor I've chosen to portray Jacob.
Note: A lot of Jacob's past, including his mother and his relationship with his sisters is of my own imagination. It has no basis in canon because frankly, Stephenie Meyer hasn't told us much about Jacob's family. It's just me interpreting things based on how I read the character.
